After a few months of trying Kagi as my default search engine, I’ve made the switch full time with a paid subscription. It’s refreshing to have excellent search results again, lightning fast, and ad-free. Highly recommended!

@cleverdevil Do you use it with the Orion browser on your iPhone? I’m thinking about making the leap, but if I have to sign in after every time I’ve cleared my cache I’m hesitant…

@cleverdevil I’m curious if you tried DuckDuckGo, and if so, how does it compare to Kagi?

@cleverdevil I also switched to Kagi. I’m hesitant to pay for things, but this has been one of the best moves I’ve made. Excellent results, and I enjoy using it everday!

@jonathan Do you find DuckDuckGo search results not excellent enough? I haven’t generally found them lacking, but maybe I don’t know what I’m missing.

@jonathan Just did the same last week. In fairness, I don't know if my previous attempts to switch to ddg failed because ddg was worse than google, or just that google has gotten so much worse since my last ddg attempt that kagi is better now...

@idallas DuckDuckGo is basically privacy respecting Bing. The results are decent, but Kagi has definitely been better for me.

@cleverdevil Another convert here. My search needs are pretty ordinary, but the speed, pertinence & ad-free approach are great. I've only scratched the surface of their search customizing options.
